2015 ACVIM Small Animal Consensus Statement on Seizure Management in Dogs.

This report was designed to provide a consensus into best practice in the management of canine seizure management based on current literature and clinical expertise. It is hoped that the document will be the baseline for future research into canine epilepsy. The report covers guidelines for a logical, step by step approach into identification, diagnosis, decision making, treatment and monitoring of epileptic patients. It also discusses ways of improving patient quality of life.
